7 Of The Horniest Erotic Novels Around

A certain kinky book (*hint* multiple shades of grey), quickly became the bestselling erotic book of all time in Britain, smashing sales records in the U.S., and catapulting the steamy genre into the spotlight.

So…you’ve devoured the sexual history of Anastasia and Christian and loved every dominant and submissive minute. Now what?

Check out our hot list of erotic novels that are guaranteed to give you the horn.

    Bared to You

Like the Fifty Shades trilogy, Sylvia Day's Bared to You and the sequel, Reflected in You, found a place at the top of the New York Times bestseller list. Day's novel focuses on the complicated relationship between Eva and Gideon, both survivors of their past, finding true love and passion for the first time.

    The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty

Published under the pseudonym A.N. Roquelaure, this is Anne Rice’s a retelling of Charles Perrault's famous fairytale of Sleeping Beauty with an erotic twist. Rather than waking up the princess with a kiss, the handsome prince in this book stirs her with seduction and is rewarded with her submission to his desires.

Crescendo - The Leah Brooke Collection

Because there's no such thing as too much, Leah Brooke brings you not one but two Christian Grey-type characters: Nick Morietti and Steve Vanguard. Both men dominate the submissive Julianna Lovette in this erotic adventure set against a story of mystery and revenge.

    Sweet Addiction

Ever wonder what would have happened if Anastasia and Christian hadn't worked out? Bestselling author, Maya Banks, introduces readers to Ren and her paramour, Cole, who seem to be living the ultimate love story until Cole takes his desires a step too far. Years later, Ren is living as a submissive to a new man who offers her everything she ever wanted … except for true love.

The Sexual Life of Catherine M.

Catherine Millet has had a sex life worth writing about, and she's recalled many of her most exciting experiences in this memoir. The book, which is translated from the original French, follows her from peep shows to orgies. Millet takes time to think about her actions, providing an essential bit of reflection to her otherwise tantalising read.

    The Story of O

Anonymously published in 1954, The Story of O — an erotica classic — is a must read. The short but intense story about a woman’s BDSM training at an elite secret club was so groundbreaking French authorities brought obscenity charges against the publisher.

    House of Holes

Nicholson Baker is no stranger to writing about erotic encounters. In the early 1990s, he took phone sex to the published page in Vox. Then in 2011, he introduced a new vocabulary of sex acts in House of Holes, which describe exploits of an adult resort reserved for those looking to satisfy eyebrow-raising fantasies.

I am an avid reader of erotic novels, romantica, BDSM as well as other topic erotica novels. My go to reading list ranges from sugar coated BDSM and light play to more extreme dark erotica aka taboo erotica.  "The Reluctant Dom" by Tymber Dalton is an amazing read from cover to cover, this novel is on the more extreme end of the spectrum than most erotic novels covering the Master/Slave type of relationship. This beautifully crafted plot had me at the edge of my seat with an extreme flare up of sexual desire and a need to fulfill my submissive tendencies.  This novel is also the book that gave me enough confidence to explore my deep seated needs and fantasies despite the possible ridicule and rejection from those that are narrow minded. Tymber Dalton is not just a writer of the genre but lives the BDSM lifestyle daily with her husband which is no wonder how this novel is filled with three dimensional characters and a story line that offers escapism as well as a good dose of realism that will remain with you always.  This amazing book had me craving discipline from a strong handed Dom and shows a deeper appreciation for the lifestyle as it is used as a balm for such authentic and powerful characters heroes as a heartbreaking event threatens to engulf them and forces them to find balance in their lives.  A true lifestyle novel.

What turns us on is another great read. Has a little bit of everything in it
