I'm intelligent, easy going, well read, and have an impossible range of interests. I'm naturally polite and courteous but modern in my open mindedness and tolerance. I'm also passionate about ideas and I enjoy debating my beliefs and the many ideas I've encountered. I believe this is the best way to understand others and deepen my understanding of my beliefs. I can be pretty intense doing this, but I rarely take it to extremes and always maintain a spirit of fun and discovery. I reserve my intensity for others I sense enjoy the give and take.)
I used to be in fabulous shape as an early practitioner of extreme sports (motocross, rock climbing, skydiving, solo backpacking, Rugby, etc.) As I've aged the injuries from that time have taken their toll. I used to travel a lot for my job but injury and the TSA has made that difficult these days.
I'm looking for an intelligent but kind, tolerant woman who stays in shape and would be willing to spend time with a broken wildman who refuses to surrender to the ravages of time. She'd be articulate, honest and assertive enough to use those traits against me. Most of all, she'd be playful and love to laugh, at herself as much as at and with me.
We all look (or hope) for perfection, but I've found it difficult enough to find someone willing to meet me half-way. I'm looking for someone willing to communicate openly and honestly - someone I can trust and want to be with - someone who'll work with me to get it right, whatever "it" turns out to be. While perfection may be an ideal, I believe a relationship can be perfected - with work and commitment and discovery of the many intangibles that bring people closer over time.
