As for what I’m looking for - God already knows, but after all you do have to meet him half way. So now I’m putting it out into the universe. I’m not perfect so I’m not looking for perfect. I'm looking for someone that I can lavish with love and affection and he will do the same for me. I am definitely a woman that God has created to love a man. While I don't need a man to take care of me, I do need one to love and adore me the way God intended him to, there is a difference. I am looking for a friend first, but ultimately a life partner. I only say this because I will not bring someone home who is not comfortable or willing to bless the dinner table at my mom’s house when the time comes (should we progress to that level, because lets face it not everyone is worth bringing home to meet your family). If the idea of praying is a foreign concept to you, we don't stand a chance. Just telling it like it is.
Now for other qualities, he should be mentally, spiritually and physically sound. Confident yet humble. Personal integrity is very important to me (the person you are when no one is looking). He MUST be trustworthy, honest, respectful, down-to-earth, and unselfish. He must be able to define success on his own terms, since I believe that success is different for each individual. "Success is when you get what you want. Happiness is when you want what you have." For me success is being happy. He should be able to touch my mind and touch my heart, before he ever touches my body. He should KNOW how to touch, love and appreciate a WOMAN.
