Recently divorced after 2 decades of being in a loveless marriage. We stayed together through a misplaced sense of loyalty, I suppose. I moved to Northumberland from London after the split, and bought a property in Ashington. Northumberland, which is by Father's hometown. (I have always loved the place!) I have 2 grown up daughters who I am i contact with but I live alone in my property. I would describe myself as a friendly, intelligent, kind person with a great sense of humour, which I need in my line of work as I am a mental health practitioner. I really miss the scent of a woman and sense of intimacy between a man and a woman. I also like to walk along some of the beautiful beaches we have up here in Northumberland, which gives me an enormous sense of well-being. Ideally, I would like to meet a lady from the North-east because of location, but would be prepared to commute for the right lady. I think that a lady's personality is equally important as the physical attraction.
